CLubMed Bintan Get-Away HoLiDaY [Day 1]

Last weekend i went to ClubMed bintan to have a short break.
But to be honest this trip is fully about photography, why i said so because, i brought 2 new lens in this trip.
One is i just bought it that really make me broke, it's 70-200mm f2.8 L IS. Its the lens i have been dreaming on, the most favorite lens (anyway i will talk about it as we go).

Another one i borrowed, tokina 10-22mm fisheye lens. Surprisingly this lens is good enough.


Ok so since i borrowed the fisheye lens one i made that as my primary lens at first.

So here is the view of clubmed resort from the receptionist u can see clearly the fisheye effect and the image quality is not bad for wide angle lens.


So we had buffet lunch first before we checked in to the room. But i was surprise there was two staffs actually wanna join our table to have lunch. At first i feel quite awkward but not long after that all the staffs were having lunch in the guest tables. So i realized it was part of their friendly service.


Ok then here is the room, it wasnt actually as i expected for the room but they are ok. And the worst thing i sleep alone on that bed, no magic happen. Almost... but noghh.... hahaha...


Subsequently i changed to my "Bazoka lens", according to my brother in law. ehhehe.. And yes this is my first try out on my new lens. and yes intentionally i bought for the trip, if no trip i may not buy hahaha...
And i was very surprised with the lens, it was really really really good. IT is VERY VERY SHARP, i mean RAZOR SHARP. The bokeh is beautiful. The IS is very useful.
It was quite hurt when i spent the money. But after seeing the result i got no regrets at all.

Above images are taken by 70-200 f2.8 L IS, so i think i dun need to express how good it is. hehehhe...

Last weekend i had a great get-away trip to bintan.
We stay at the ClubMed Bintan, they have a great great great service.
If u are kinda pampered kinda person this place is really recommended.

Marina Keppel Bay (Awesome Place)

We went to a great & romantic place, unfortunately i didnt go with my partner or anything like that but with my sis family, but i had a great time too...
Its Marina Keppel Bay, it is my sister who found the place.

Since she is jobless, she tries to be productive still by finding out great places, take picture so she can update her blog for her kids hahaha...

Fun Day of Shooting (My Uncle Visit)

My uncle and my cousin visited from indonesia. So I ask them to come along to join me to the singapore river festival. It was quite bored for them i guess.

Off Flash Camera [First Try]

I borrowed the hotshoe and syncron cable from my friend to try off my off flash camera.
It turned out pretty difficult to control the FEC on the subject.

This is my first try so these are the result, i need to practice more on my off flash camera skill... arghhh so difficult...

I know its pretty dark too much underexpose the surrounding, one of the main reason because i want to get a fast shutter speed while not boosting up the ISO, and also because my nephews cant sit still, they are too excited too my flash, which i think they thought some kind of toy. hahaha....

Dora Show at Airport

It's been a while i have not updated my blog. I was pretty busy with my work.

So last weekend we went to airport to fetch my brother in law, however we saw there was a dora show for my nephews. It was in terminal 3, and terminal 3 is stunning and huge, so i can do a good perspective shots... So enjoy...

National Museum of Singapore

This is the first time i have ever been to museum, i was really excited but it was a disappointment to me.

It doesn't really look like museum, its more of rooms with event. Where is the historical stuffs? Walaw....

Btw when i went in there is a stack of tank of love and u know what created by INDONESIAN guy *salute*



And the only historical thing i can find in the museum. An old rickshaw where used to sell food in the olden days. In indonesia they still have this in present, in fact their food are the best.



And here again i was playing with my flash, i think i become very depending to it, i just couldn't get a pleasing look with out flash..

First one i tried to show what im talking about couldn'd get a pleasing look without and with flash...





And again i couldn't miss my gorgeous nephew and a cool thing i took...
